Everyone is so hooked on the new "organic" trend. The year 2015 has brought so many new technological advances in our world, that some of them go to far. Some of these new discoveries, such as GMOs and the use of pesticides has become so controversial that an Organic and Natural Food Product industry has developed. A quick trip to your local Natural Foods store, most likely Mrs. Greens or Whole Foods will allow you to see that any type of product from Organic Carrots to Organic and Cruelty Free Toothpaste has been made available by this new "Organic" Industry.
I just burned my tongue on Organic Green Tea. Ouch.
Unfortunately, many business people have hopped on the organic bandwagon in hopes of earning an extra couple bucks. Some businesses label their food products as organic and natural, even though they might not be. This has given the organic food industry a bad rap and has made me feel skeptical about some of the foods I purchase, which claim to be organic.
Right now I am drinking a cup of Green Tea, from an individual tea bag. According to it's packaging, this tea bag is 100% organic. I am extremely curious if this tea bag is actually, as it claims to be, organic. Who really knows? In small print on the bottom of the paper pouch in which the tea bag came in, it says that it is a product of china. This makes me very skeptical and nervous that this tea is not actually organic.
