The last time I wore it was weeks ago
I was with a person
physically and mentally
in some woods
Ice was still on the ground
everything was bare
just the way I like it
You could see the uniqueness of each tree
through its leafless branches
I wore it with my ripped jeans.
I wanted to be casual
But I clearly underestimated the warmth of my sweatshirt like thing
The person gave me their jacket and I was warm
I felt really bad because I could see the persons body shivering without it
The person complimented it, but I didn't think anything of it
Now here I am wearing the beige sweatshirt like thing
This is the only memory this sweatshirt like thing holds
It's weird to think it was only weeks ago
It feels like years
Like really far back in the past
